Studio Guidelines
House Rules
At Reform Revolution, we are committed to providing you with the ultimate Pilates experience. Our goal is for you to leave each session feeling healthier and more energized than when you arrived. To ensure this, we have a few simple guidelines in place to enhance your experience and allow us to support you in the best possible way:
Pregnancy Members:
If you become pregnant, please inform your instructor as soon as possible.
Our instructors are trained in Antenatal Pilates and can modify exercises to suit your needs if you have been attending regular classes with us before your pregnancy. This will allow you to continue participating for as long as you feel comfortable or until your instructor advises otherwise. However, we do require that you stop attending group classes from 36 weeks onwards. We strongly recommend booking a 1-on-1 session with your instructor at the start of your pregnancy and at the beginning of each trimester. This will ensure you receive personalized guidance on adapting and modifying exercises to safely continue your practice.
Non - Members:
If you have not been attending regular classes with us before your pregnancy, we kindly ask that you do not book into group classes. While all our instructors are trained in Antenatal Pilates, it is important that we first understand your body, strengths, and limitations before introducing you to a group setting. Instead, we recommend beginning with 1-on-1 Pilates sessions with one of our instructors. After these initial sessions, your instructor will assess whether transitioning to group classes is suitable for you. For your safety and that of your baby, we do not offer 1-on-1 sessions during the first trimester. Please wait until your second trimester before booking.
Grippy Socks Required
For safety and hygiene reasons, grippy socks are mandatory in our classes and must be worn at all times.
Personal Hygiene
All participants are expected to maintain a suitable level of personal hygiene when attending classes.
Facilities & Equipment
Members are expected to treat all equipment and facilities with care and respect. Any damage could impact the experience of other members, so we appreciate your cooperation in keeping everything in great condition.
Etiquette:
Members are expected to uphold a respectful and considerate attitude towards both staff and fellow members. Please interact with others in a manner you would like to be treated.
Children (Under 16's)
Children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the Studios or Therapy area at any time, even when accompanied by an adult. Additionally, children must not be left unattended anywhere within the facility. This policy is in place for safety and insurance reasons.
Pets
Pets are not permitted on-site at any time for hygiene reasons.
Photography & Filming
You are welcome to take selfies at the beginning and end of class. Time-lapse recordings of yourself during class are also allowed, but please refrain from recording any audio, and no extra filming equipment such as tripods or lighting is permitted in the studio. Be mindful not to include other attendees in your photos or recordings unless you have their consent. If anyone requests that you stop recording at any point, please respect their wishes.
Late Arrival Existing Members:
If you arrive more than 5 minutes late for class, you will not be permitted to join. This policy is in place for your safety and insurance reasons, as missing the warm-up increases the risk of injury. It’s essential to participate in the warm-up to avoid potential harm.
First-Time Attendees:
Please aim to arrive 5-10 minutes before your class begins. This will allow time to meet your instructor and complete important pre-class preparations. As it’s your first class, arriving late will require you to reschedule.
Cancellation Fee:
We understand plans can change. If you need to cancel a class, please do so at least 6 hours before the start time. Cancellations made within 6 hours of the class starting will incur a £10 cancellation fee, but you won’t lose the class - you can simply rebook for another session.
Personal Belongings
Please keep all personal belongings on you at all times. There will be a coat rack for coats, purses and umbrellas.
Lost Property
If you have left any items in the studio please email Member Support at support@reformrevolution.uk All members, staff, and visitors are expected to follow these rules, as we are fully committed to upholding them.
